Hey! My name is Robert La Mantia (La Man-tea-uh) and I am an award-winning filmmaker and content creator.

I began my filmmaking & content creation journey when I was fourteen years old in a small town outside Philadelphia, PA called Kennett Square. What started as numerous little short films with friends soon turned into wins at local film festivals and the start of my career.

While pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Film at Full Sail University, I caught the bug for creating marketing, social media, and branded content after shooting and editing a successful promo for a local restaurant. And thus the commercial and branded content aspect of my career was born and later led to my work with Bellefonte Brewing Company & Phillips Mushroom Farms.

After graduation, I made the move west to Los Angeles where I continued to pursue my career as a content creator & narrative-commercial filmmaker. During my time there, I had the privilege of working with clients such as Freeform, Siren TV, PopSugar, Project Mermaids, Regnum Dei, The Boys and Girls Club. I also co-produced, co-directed, shot, edited & completed the sound design for my short film 13 Knots that premiered at The Bridgeport Film Festival where it won best thriller and the audience choice award.

In 2019, I decided to leave the West Coast and head East to be closer to my family. Currently I am the Senior Digital Creator for RideNow Powersports, Warhorse, Harley Davidson & Indian Motorcycle and a content creator for PBS Tampa. I also have numerous narrative projects currently in the development and pre-production stages.

When I’m not working, I like jogging, playing video games, hanging out with family at the Jersey Shore, and taking nature photographs. I am also all ears if you've got a good restaurant recommendation.

20’s vs your 30’s

Drinking During Your 20’s Vs. Your 30s short film that won an honorable mention award in the category of Best Comedy at the Hollywood Gold Awards. This film shows the humorous juxtaposition between a videographer's drinking habits as a college student and a working professional with ten more years of mileage. Shot with stylized static angles and showcasing a broad but grounded performance, this film's tone balances between a super goofy comedy and a kitchen sink examination of professional exhaustion. Notably this film was written, directed, filmed & edited by me.

This entire film was shot in one day under severe time constraints because our lead actress Frida Jonsson had to fly back to Sweden the following day. Due to time and budget constraints, the entire shoot was done MOS which means the sound design you see in the final film was all completely constructed from scratch by me. The voice over was recorded using an iPad and surrounding Frida with pillows which is a testament to how much can be done with limited equipment.

Raised over $20,000 in small dollar donations for the Bellefonte Brewing Co Kickstarter corporate documentary by showcasing a passion for craft beer and big plans the owners had (and have since exceeded)

Indian Motorcycle Daytona Beach

I helped break the sales record of 251 units at Daytona Beach's Bike Week 2021 event with fun and engaging consistent daily video content focusing on driving foot traffic to the dealership

Project Mermaids

Increases sales by 120 percent for Project Mermaids by filming and editing exciting sizzle reels from the unique behind the scenes experiences and celebrity photoshoots
